Adobe Announces ‘Generative Recolor’ AI Feature For Adobe Illustrator
🎨 Exciting news for designers and marketers! Adobe has announced the launch of Generative Recolor, a new tool that uses generative AI to change colors, themes, and fonts of graphics in Adobe Illustrator through text prompts.
🎨 Generative Recolor is available in beta in Adobe Illustrator, which is mostly used to create logos, posters, packaging for products, websites, and apparel designs.
💚Based on textual prompts, Generative Recolor uses Firefly to generate a rendering of a scene or theme. Then, it extracts the color palettes from that image and applies it to the user’s graphic, recoloring it based on the mood or theme a user requests.
👨🎨 Adobe’s Vice President of Generative AI, Alexandru Costin, believes that all content will, in some shape or form, be edited through generative fashion in the near future. And, with the addition of Generative Recolor, Adobe continues to push forward in its plan to integrate a range of generative AI features into its flagship design products.
🤖 With hundreds of researchers working on improving the quality of their AI model, Firefly, the future of Adobe's generative AI tools looks promising.
