AI will affect 40% of jobs and probably worsen inequality, says IMF head

🌐 Artificial Intelligence is transforming the global economy. A recent report from the IMF suggests AI will affect 40% of jobs across the world, with more significant disruptions expected in advanced economies.

💼 As per the report, our productivity could be boosted by AI integration for half of these jobs. However, key tasks might get taken over by AI applications for the other half of jobs, which could lead to lower labor demand, reduced wages, and eventually job cuts.

📚 As a digital transformation guide, I view this as a pivotal moment in human history. It's crucial to redefine how we understand jobs and productivity, keeping human values and lived experiences at the forefront.
