Humane’s AI Pin Could Cost $1,000 — & Require A Subscription 🙋
🚀 Great technological strides are soon becoming our new normal. Take for instance, the Humane’s Ai Pin projected to be worth $1,000—and perhaps, demanding a subscription too!
🌐 Yes, that's right. This wearable device/predictive piece from the covert startup Humane, is expected to cost as much as $1,000 and may also require a monthly subscription for data, states The Information.
🔭 After years of development, we finally get a sneak peek at the device during co-founder Imran Chaudhri’s TED talk this year. From accepting phone calls, providing gift purchasing details, translating sentences into AI-generated human voice (French, in this case), to offering opinions on whether he could consume a chocolate bar—the showcase was certainly compelling.
🔍 Closer to the launch around November 9th, the form of the Ai Pin is gradually coming into light. It's a diminutive, screenless device approximately the size of a saltine cracker and is embedded with a camera, a microphone and speaker, several sensors, and a laser projector! Quick, connected, powerful camera abilities, and safety are offered by its Snapdragon chip from Qualcomm.
🔮 The future of Humane post the initial launch, or comprehensive details about the device, are still rather murky. Though, Humane supposedly dreams of causing a radical shift in consumer computing, which manifests in more than just the Ai Pin.
🙋 Let's stay tuned as the future of wearables takes a surprising turn.
