Happy International Women's Day! 👩🏾‍🔬👩‍💻👩‍🏭

This year I am facilitating a panel on the topic 'Using technology to drive social change' and it's all about highlighting the incredible impact of women in STEM fields. 🌟

Have you attempted to explore the leading quote repositories for quotes from women in STEM regarding their futuristic perspectives, insights, impact, and contributions? I have taken the initiative to do so myself, and based on my anecdotal findings, I estimate that approximately 80-90% of the quotes from women are centred around their experiences as women in STEM. 🧮

From my perspective, this is a symptom of the systemic challenges has faced over the last 50 years and is continuing to address. 🔎

While it is important to raise awareness regarding being a woman in STEM, it can also be reductive and one-dimensional when we don’t recognise women for their wider contributions and perspectives. 💪

That's why this panel is taking a different approach by focusing on the contributions, impact, and insights of women in STEM that extend beyond just being a woman in the field. 👀

STEM is a vehicle for achieving further reaching goals and objectives that people are passionate about. 🌍
