MultiversX Eyes Metaverse Scalability As CEO Sheds Light On Spatial Computing ๐
๐ข With giants like Meta and Apple jumping on the metaverse bandwagon, it's clear that we're in the midst of a digital revolution.
๐ The differing strategies of these two giants are intriguing: Meta's focus on VR through their new smart glasses with Ray-Ban, versus Apple's approach towards AR with spatial computing through their own AR glasses.
๐ก As an advocate for accessibility and inclusivity, I personally find Apple's spatial computing approach more aligned with the true vision of the metaverse. Instead of just immersing us in a specific VR world, it provides a more intuitive and interaction-rich experience.
๐ง While VR has its merits, its focus on a singular virtual world could be limiting. The metaverse should offer multiple use-cases, and this is where spatial computing shines.
๐ญ To quote Beniamin Mincu, CEO of MultiversX, "Viewing a lens or an interface as a spatial computing device... is a very underrated paradigm shift that Apple has introduced."
๐ฎ This shift hints at an exciting future for the metaverse, as it leans more towards an interactive experience within virtual worlds.
๐ Lastly, don't overlook the recent technical upgrades by MultiversX. They're aligning with spatial computing, promising to increase transactional throughput seven times and introducing features like early block proposals and parallel node processing.
๐ฅ Always remember, a holistic approach is key in such innovative fields. It's not about choosing one technology over the other. Instead, we should aim to combine their strengths for a unified, physically and virtually seamless metaverse.
