Why the metaverse is far from over 👩🏻💼
🌐 With uncertainty around the growth of the metaverse, 🤔 some are questioning if it is already over before it even begins.
👩🏻💼 However, according to Marjorie Hernandez, the metaverse is not going anywhere as it is the next iteration of the internet. As the co-founder of Lukso and The Dematerialised, she has witnessed how conversations surrounding the metaverse have accelerated over the past year.
💡 In 2023, Hernandez predicts that brands will pursue phygital items and experiences to boost their product offerings, opening doors to new experiences, exclusive content, and a particular lifestyle embedded in each item. The space will become less intimidating for users, and prices will lower with more people entering the metaverse.
💭 The cryptocurrency crash in 2022 might have made the journey a little rockier, but Hernandez states that the metaverse is an inevitable trend we cannot set back.
🛣️ The real question is what we will find in the metaverse when it becomes widespread: we need to create a space with what people will really love doing, something that makes them happier, and improves their lives.
